The Scuba3s includes a passive NFC chip that enables seamless wireless data transmission to any device with an active NFC reader, like a smartphone. It works similarly to contactless payments—just hold your phone near the Scuba3s, and all data is instantly transferred to your device. This data, which includes the device’s serial number, firmware version, test method name and number, date and time of measurement, results, and measurement units, is immediately accessible in the PoolAssistant app. Additionally, all information can be stored in the cloud.
- PoolAssistant App: Instant Insights Anywhere
The PoolAssistant app makes it easy to analyze your pool data. Once the transfer is complete via NFC, up to three users can access data for up to five different pools. The app presents the results in chart form and offers guidance on proper pool maintenance, including recommended chemicals and water quality improvements. An FAQ section provides answers to common questions about pool hygiene, water care, and the Langelier index, along with helpful tips.
- Visual Signals for Quick Clarity
The Scuba3s display features color-coded lighting to instantly indicate if measurements are within safe limits. A green light means the water quality is within the ideal range—time to enjoy the pool! A red light signals that the readings fall outside of globally recognized safety limits. These visual cues are also used in the PoolAssistant app, which further assists in identifying potential issues.
- Expanded Testing Capabilities
With 11 available tests, the Scuba3s allows for detailed monitoring of pool water using key parameters. At the press of a button, users can check for total, free, and bound chlorine, bromine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, active oxygen, copper, and phosphate—helping ensure the water is in top condition. The testing process has been optimized for even faster results.

The Scuba3s retains its ergonomic, easy-to-hold design, with a flattened back for stability. It features a screw-sealed battery compartment that ensures waterproof protection, so it’s ready for any pool session. Navigation is made simple with four multifunction buttons, a larger screen, and user-friendly icons and animations that guide you through the menu effortlessly.
